Water damage after a repair was made
We had our yearly maintenance done on the water conditioner is our basement. After he left, we noticed a small leak that had to be wiped up every night. We called them after two days and he came back out. He said he needed to order a part and would come back on Saturday to fix it. He put some sort of valve on it and about 15 minutes after he left my husband went downstairs and water was all over the place. They had to come back and now they said the "collar" to the tank was old and age worn and had to be replaced along with the tank. They wanted no parts of fixing or compensating us for the water damage on the carptet and walls. Since we have them come in once a year for maintenance would this not be their responsibility? Thanks
