If my mother has custody of my child how do I get custody back?

We need more info. ANY question on law needs to include your general locale as laws vary by area. Why does your mother have custody? How old is the child? Where is the father?

No way we can answer you with so little info.

I live in nc. I gave my mother kinship care of my oldest child (3) and then my youngest child 7 months old I placed with a riend, I have no job and no income. My mom then took me 2 court and took custody of both children. (temp custody)

Well you need to prove to the court that you are now a stable person with the maturity and means to care for your children. When you can do that, you may be able to get custody back.
