My san has joint custody of his daughter and has for 4 years he sees her every 2 weeks without fail and also has her for holidays his ex partners boyfriend from years ago is now back with her ex partner from years ago she is now saying that he might be the dad my sons name is on the birth certficate and he has cared for this little girl for 4 years he is in bits it also turns out the partner has been violent towards the mother and my son want to get his little girl away from there what can he do we have informed social services there is a chance this boy could be my sons daughters dad as the girl has always played mind games with him I can't loose my grandaughter and my son his daughter even if she is not bilogically his please help she is also saying she will take my sons name of the birth certficate can she do this

She can do this but you should tell you son to take her to cort or find out who the dad is firs then if your son is the dad he can take the mother to court and he can put in for full cousday if he is the dad he will have the power to do that because his ex is in a vilont relashinship so fis of all find out who the dad is then make the next move but if the other boy is the father I am sorry to say but there nothing you can do good luck I hoped I helpd
