My Hampton Bay remote no longer operates the fan but the light still works.
My Hampton Bay remote no longer operates the fan and since that is the only way to operate the fan, we cannot use the fan at all. The remote has relatively new batteries and the light works fine. What can be done to fix the problem? The serial number for this fan is: 0000 893 and we purchased it at Lowe's in Jacksonville, Florida. Thanks so much for your help... it will be getting hot down here soon so we are going to need to use it before long.

Come back when you can and tell us what your measured
