I have owned the attached painting for about 8 years now and it had been with it's previous owner for about 30 years, it is not known whether it was purchased by them new or old.

It's a beautiful what looks like oil on canvas? And seems to have an oriental feel about it. The pictures do not do it justice but I would like to know more about it origins if anybody can tell me it would be much appreciated. I have also attached a further picture of the signature which definitely look like the initials A and R but as you can see, it is difficult to ascertain the rest! Thank you.
