Dual citizenship in France and United States
My great-grandfather was born in the south of France, however, he grew up in Italy because both his parents were Italian. He later moved to the United States and married my great-grandmother who was Swedish. I was wondering if because he was born in France that there is anyway I could apply for dual citizenship in France?
