    Dr. Appt a must?
    Symptoms: Waking up the past 2 weeks with a mild headache and nausea, occasional nausea at the sight of food or someone talking about food, sensitive breasts. I've made a dr appt for a pregnancy test, do you think that I'm way off base for doing this? Does it sound like pregnancy symptoms?

    Did you take a HPT?

    It could be an overactive imagination or wishful thinking too, among other things.

    I'm not sure what HPT is. It really isn't wishful thinking I'm 19 and my boyfriend is leaving in a month for Afganhastan. Could be imagination, but it isn't...

    It's very early. The doctor may not be able to tell for sure at this stage.

    Have you missed a period yet?

    Why do you have to know now?

    HPT = Home Pregnancy Test
