    Switch change I kitchen now outlets and lightswitches not working in next room
    My husband changed the light switch in kitchen because of the color, now outlets and light switches not working in the front of the house. When we switched the wires on the switch lights working in front of the house but not in the kitchen?? We cannot get all to work at the same time.

    Tell us how many and what kind of cables (2 or 3 wire)and the color of the wires in the cables at the switch.

    A wire is a wire. A cable is two or more wires in an outer covering.

    How many screws (electrical terminals) on the switch?

    Do you have and know how to use a meter?
