    Can not play vhs on hdtv
    Have a vhs/dvd combo and a flat screen Samsung hdtv and I cn not ply my vhs movies why?

    Maybe because you aren't selecting the source correctly or you hooked it up wrong?

    I'm guessing you hooked it up wrong. Not all of the new HDTV's have the right inputs you need for the older devices.
