If I have received a 1099A and then received a 1099C, how do I file my taxes?
If I have received a 1099A and then received a 1099C with a 0 in the amount of debt forgiven, do I submit a form 982 when filing my taxes? The house was foreclosed on January 10, 2010 and has not sold yet?

Form 982 IS the form that needs to be filed, but unless you have experience in this field, you should NOT be filing this yourself. You must meet specific criteria to qualify to file a Form 982, and most laymen have neither the training nor the experience to file the form correctly.
