80s or 70s Cartoon Movie
I hardly remember anything from this movie, so the description is vague beyond vague. But I do remember there were 2 warring parties, both taking control of giant robots (not humanoid). I remember one scene where there was a giant gorilla with symbols(I think) clapping them together to make sound waves, the scene was in a canyon of sorts. I can't remember the forms of any of the other robots, there may have been an insect. Any help is appreciated, thank you.

So it's about a girl and a boy (maybe brother and sister). Each of them has one half of a ring and when they join those halfs and say some sort of magic words they summon some giant ghost who fights evil. That's all I can remember :( Do you know the name of this cartoon?
OK, I saw this movie when I was around 5 or 6. the main character was named peter and he had this magic paintbrush. He had many talking animal friends and they were being hunted down by an army of axes. Art style looked very similar to the movie, the wizards.
