Garage door remote operation in cold weather
Our garage door opens and closes fine with the wall mounted switch, including the exterior coded switch. It does not work, however from any of our remotes, including the manufacturer's remote as well as the ones we have programmed in the cars. We have two brands; neither seems to work. One is a Genie, the other is a Chamberlain.

Chamberlain has an annoying feature that causes the programing to disappear. Has there been any power interruption on the Chamberlain? This could cause you to need to reprogram the remote. Both doors operating poorly could be cold related but can you tell if the light comes on when you try the remote, does the door budge but not open.. Just looking for mpre details
