My electric furnace sometimes wants to keep heating without ever shutting off. Changed the thermostat but, it still happens. I can tap briskly on the sequencer and it will shut off, and it will run as it is supposed to. But, then it can happen again. Is this probably a problem with the sequencer?
HVAC 1000 I have an old Honeywell Sequencer Part number R833OF from a Coleman Presidential Heater It's a single blower 3 element heater. In a 2007 posting you noted a sequencer number of 3115-3157. The sequencer part number I listed from Honeywell is over 35 years old and is no longer available....
My Interthrem electric furnace will not run in automatic;I've changed the sequencer per suggestions,but to no avail what can I do?
After making sure my t stat was not the problem I replaced my sequencer... the problem was that my furnace would not quit making heat... worked for a few weeks and then the same thing happened but now I think one of the thermal fuses blew... what makes the sequencer go bad?
How do you replace the sequencer on an Intertherm Furnace by Central Electric? The model # is FEH-012HA-03 Appliance # E0000088245, 240v 60hz 1ph, 51.3 amps.
