Hi guys! Went to the doc took a blood test was negative 2 weeks after took home 3 home tests were all positive went to the doc again he was surprised that I got positive tests he did a scan nothing show uterus was empty. Went home took another test the next morning was positive started bleeding the next day brown/orange mucusy blood then went to a gynae he did an internal ultra sound uterus still empty can anyone advise if it has happened before?

Did you read the home tests according to the directions? Sometimes, if you go back and look at them later, they can look positive. They need to be read only within the time frame stated on the tests.

If you did this, and they were positive, you might have been pregnant. It may be that you had a very early loss, which happens more than most women would realize.

How are you determining that you are 6w8d pregnant?

If you test again, follow the directions exactly. If still positive, you should ask for another blood test to be done since it has been at least a couple of weeks since the first. Sometimes just a matter of days can make a difference.
