    Partial hysterectomy?
I'm 48 yrs old female, came from a communist country 20 yrs ago in Canada, had about 10 self provoked abortions by age of 30, around 6 surgeries on the abdomen (cystocelle, C section, bladder fix, tubuligation, forgot the rest) by age 45.

I am now heavily bleeding 3 wks/month from ever growing fibroids (diagnosed 6 yrs ago), huge uterus, permanent pelvic & back pain, fibroids medication not effective anymore to keep bleeding in check.

Have been referred to OB-GYN for partial hysterectomy consul, been told a couple of times by both family physician & OB-Gyn that I am no more a candidate for either surgery or laparoscopy, due to numerous previous surgeries & potential dangers due to deep numerous adhesions.

I need to end this 40 yrs old menace that is taking over my mental health now: continuous pain & bleeding and or haemorrhaging.

Other than the uterine artery embolisation, is surgery really out of the question (without risking my long term health, of course)??

    Would appreciate other medical opinions.

    Thank you.
