    I have been divorced since 6/09 and my ex still has not taken my name off truck.
    And now I found out he used it to take out a loan threw a bank his new wife works at is this legal cause the truck still half my truck yet?I told him to take it out of my name last year and he still didn't, like is said is this legal he took out a loan and using the truck if the loan not paid they take it my question I would he not have to have me OK this since my name on the truck too?

    BAFWRF: Your post is almost unreadable. Puntuation marks were invented for a reason - please use them!

    Are you a joint owner of the truck with your ex? And it's been 18 months since you split? If all you have is a verbal promise that someday he will pay you for your half of the truck, it seems obvious he's not motivated to follow through on his promise. Now after 18 months the truck is worth less than it once was and so he's best off just letting this slide. You should either get him to buy out your half, in cash, or take him to small claims court. As for whether it's legal for him to take out a loan and use the truck as collateral - the answer is no, although it really depends on how the truck is titled.
