Dealer Titled Car and Registered car to me withou Financing
I purchased a car about 35 days ago only to find out now that the dealer never submitted any paper work to the bank. I had my own financing when I went in all I had to do was sign the Blank Bank check. The dealer titled the car to me and gave me the Hard license plate and registration before I left their lot that day. The bank is now stating that they will not finance this loan do to the dearler not following the terms of the blank check. There was no negligence on my part. Can the dealer have my car towed in the middle of the night or can they now make me return the car to them since legally the car is registered and titled to me? What are my options. The bank rep states that the dealer just gave me a free car since the terms of the check specifically state that They should have been contact and assured funding prior to me leaving the lot. The terms of the check were 110% LTV and the dearler tried to get over on me by charging more.. Help please. What are the Florida laws.
