Low Cold Water Pressure After Replacing Cartridge
I bought my house about 2 years ago and have had mostly harmless plumbing oddities since day 1. The kitchen sink has a Moen single handle faucet. The cold water line was always low pressure, but over time the hot began to lose pressure as well. I removed the aerator and found it disgustingly full of sediment; I gave this a good cleaning, and the hot water line jumped back up to better pressure than it had ever been, but the cold water line was still very low, we're talking just a trickle. So I removed the cartridge and it was equally filthy. I replaced the cartridge, but no change in water pressure. What else should I look for? Given how the rest of it looks I'd guess there's some more sediment buildup somewhere, but I don't know how to get at it. Thanks for any help you can give!
