Toilet will not flush and it dose not have a vent pipe
Toilet will just fill up with water and slowly drain down. There is no vent pipe there never was one. We had to shut the water off from the house because of a water main break and ever scents we turned the water back on. Both toilets are acting up. I've taken the toilet off and pored water down the drain with no problem, I also filled up the toilet in the bath tub and flushed it. The toilet flushed fine. Put it all back together and it did the same thing, fill with water and drain slowly. I was told it was doing this because there is no vent pipe (stink pipe) and I was also told we need to get are septic tank pumped out. Can't figure this out. Please help.

Are you saying that the toilets flushed well, even without a vent, before the water was turned off? How did the house pass plumbing inspection without a main vent?
