C&R asking me to sign regisnation letter am I still eligible for Unemployment
I filed a work comp claim which was denied. I have been on disability for a year now and it has run out. The defense on my claim is offering C&R but wants me to sign a letter of resignation. Am I still eligible for unemployment if I sign the letter. Also, my employer does not have any positions available for me to return o work.

If you are on disability and not able to work you will not be allowed to draw unemployment.

In order to draw unemployment you have to #1. Be unemployed due to no fault of yours and #2. Be able and willing to work.

If you are not able to work you will be denied unemployment.

If you are still not able to work you can file for disability social security under the social security act.

If you do resign your job you will not be allowed to draw unemployment because resigning is the same as quitting.
