    Filing tax return 2010
    My wife is working since may-10 and I came here in oct-10, can we file joint returns, is there any benefits she can avail for my air ticket expense as I am not working now??

    1. Yes, you can file a joint return, as as you were leaglly maried as of Dec 31.

    2. You may deduct moving expenses associated with a new job as long as you meet the time and distance tests. So if your wife started a new job in the US in May that required her to relocate at least 50 miles, and it's a full time job, you can deduct expenses such as your cost of travel to the new location. See IRS pub 521 for details: Publication 521 (2010), Moving Expenses

    We should file through any consultant or its easy as we don't have any dependent neither we own home or car or any property. If yes through consultant? how much charge normally they take?
