    Vent question
    Does the vent of a bath drain have to be directly over the drain? Can I tap into an existing vent (sink drain vent approx 6 to 9 ft away)

    Bubba, we could use a drawing or picture. Is this a new install? Your vent pipe bneeds to be within 5' of the trap, check with your building department. You probably need a permit for this work and they will tell you what they will allow
