OK, so I'm gay, and I think my friend is. And he is very hot. I want to find out if he is. HELP!

I will disagree with "hot" he may have a physcial interest, but then 14 year old children should not be having or considering sex anyway.

And of course at 14 many youths are still finding their feelings and sexual nature,

I agree with fr_chuck. You shouldn't try to find out if he is though, cause if he isn't then you will be embarrassed and you could risk losing the friendship you two now have. You are still young and figuring out who you are inside, just give it time.

I honestly think he's not, when your 14 and gay, you think every boy is gay, though if you fancy him, in your mind you search for gay things inside him so you can lie to yourself that he is as well, and you should make a move on him and try to have sex. In my opinion, you shouldn't do that, because if he is not, you might lose the friendship and be heartbroken as well. At that age, love is easy, comes and goes, but you feel the suffering eternal although is for 2 weeks.. :)

I wouldn't push that issue with him. You have way too much to loose on the other end, mostly his friendship. If the subject of being gay comes up, you may have to deal with it then, so do have something to say about it, but don't make it sound like you are in love. Mention that you have "thought about it" and leave it at that. It doesn't mean a thing.
I too thought I was gay when I was almost 14. I developed early and discovered what other guys are about. BIG MISTAKE as it clouded my judgmental for nearly a decade! I am fortunate to not have caught some terrible disease in the process but did have to have some questionable surgery once. DON'T DO IT.
