I was unprotected and it happened with my boyfriend.
its been 5 weeks, 4 days.
My last period was around late November when it ended.
I did a test (around 2 weeks after the mistake happened), at the walk in clinic, NEGATIVE
, the woman said.
But told me to come back in a week, because I may have needed more time.
I read all the signs and I am genuinely worried.

- my breasts have hurt for over a week now, normally don't even with signs of my period, its maybe a couple days.
- I feel nauseous about food and in the morning, avoid to eat straight away
- I've had random painful cramps, and no period at all.
- I'm over emotional for almost no reason at all randomly
- I've been going to the toilet twice in duration of half an hour, to pee, very daily for a while now.
- I keep on thinking I'm getting fat, because I look bigger that usual, like I'm bloated.

-My period is definitely late, for around over a week for sure.


All these things I shrugged off for a while now. I have my mood swings, maybe I drink water too much, maybe I have indigestion, maybe I've always had problems with eating properly, but I can't ignore all the signs when put together!
This may sound funny, but right now , just squeezed my breast and it doesn't feel right, how sore it is...

Who can relate or knows about this?

A positive is a positive. It means you're pregnant.

My mind just made me type positive, because I'm going a little crazy. I just want to know now.

Have you tried taking another test?

Try taking an hpt (home pregnancy test) using first morning urine. If it's negative than you'll have to wait and see, test again if you don't get your period the next month.

In the meantime start taking prenatal vitamins. It won't hurt you at all, but if you're pregnant it's very important for the baby to have these vitamins as soon as possible.

I know it's stressful, and you want to know now. Sometimes it just doesn't work that way.

It sounds like I'm going to keep the baby,
I'm pro choice, 21, a waitress, and very scared, because I'm unhappy in my relationship... also reading about abortions scare me a lot.

There are other options. Until you decide what to do the prenatal vitamins won't hurt you. Why not give the baby the best chance possible, just in case you decide to carry it to term. That is if you're even pregnant. Let's figure that out first. ;)

I just want to add that you do have more than 2 options if you are indeed pregnant. There is also adoption.

Try the hpt tomorrow morning, right as you wake up. If it's positive come back and we can talk about your options. There are great people on this site. We won't judge, no matter what choice you make. Okay?
