I used a semi permanent hair color on my hair and I loved it. It was a med.golden mahogany brown. Unfortunately, it didn't cover the gray well, so I thought I would do a permanent version of the same color next. I used a permanent med golden mahogany brown and now my hair is a combination of black and brown... with some red at the roots... way too dark and looks awful! Could I just use the first one, the semi permanent on it to brighten it a bit till my hair grows out? I already tried the head and shoulders and clarifying shampoos and hot oil treatments to fade it... nothing is working! I am scared to try anything else! Thank you for your help!
