So... I have liked this girl intensely for about 3 months now and its driving me crazy how much I want her. We do quite a lot together and we tell each other most things and stay up late talking on fb or text every night for about 3 months .but she has a boyfriend of two years on and off which we have never talked about. I have expressed my love for her once and I didn't really get put down and told no, which leads me to think she likes me but is in a relationship with someone that she likes too and can't do anything. This didn't ruin our friendship at all it just made it a lot better and more intense. On a night out one of my close friends asked her about our relationship and she said she does like me but she doesn't want to think of me like that, which I want to think she likes me but doesn't want to ruin her relationship. I have been told to be patient which I think is the best plan, but any other views would be helpful...

Thanks man :) this really makes me see how comlicated the situation is... its going to be hard to make a decision but I think patience is the best option. The only thing that I really worry about is how she didn't say no properly when I kind of confessed my feelings, that would have probably hurt more initially but made me back off over time...

Well, you've already told her how you felt, so the ball is on her side of the court. If she wanted something more to happen with you, she would let you know by breaking up with her boyfriend first.

As for going forward, staying friends and being patient is fine, as long as you keep in mind that being friends might be the closest you can be together. Hoping that you will one day be together is setting yourself up for disappointment and a huge heartbreak.

I see your point, but I think she wouldn't do that to I'm even if she did like me she is not that dort of person. But I kind of have to accept that it might not go any further than this even if I want it to. But I also think that giving up would be a bad idea. Thanks a lot though

Ask her if she is happy with him that way she will start thinking and if she is not happy then she will dump him the comfort her and she will ask you out
