How do I wire a mod. 36h64-463 gas valve? The old valve that I had was a 36c76-314 is outdated.

Follow the schematic. It should have the diagram in the booklet that came with the valve. I recommend you call a pro. A gas valve is no toy and can cause injury or damage to the house. The way your wires were on the other valve are the way you wire the new one. The valve will have mv and other things on it and so will your schematic and which wire goes to what.

It's a 2 stage gas vlave. You should have the markings on top for high, low and common just like the old one.

Failure to read and follow all instructions carefully before installing or operating this control could cause personal injury and/or property damage!
