Why won't Outlook send email when Windows Mail does with the same settings.
My Microsoft Outlook does not connect via SMTP to send emails (keeps asking for my password even though the incoming mail confirms the password is correct). I have tried all possible combinations of authorisation, SSL, TLS, etc and nothing.

Windows Mail works perfectly straight away.

The outgoing mail works fine in both outlook and windows mail. Can anyone suggest why Outlook won't work with the same setting as Windows Mail that does work on the same machine?
