    Baird 37' TV model, when turned on I get vertical red lines on the screen.
    It's been to a local TV repair man who said he had fixed the problem and I parted with £110.00. Since then it's been back a second time and although it's a bit better, you still get lines on screen for a short time. Thanks Dave.

Thin vertical line/lines across TV esp. At startup [ 1 Answers ]

My 9-10 year old Sanyo 27" (I'm sure you're all laughing now) TV has thin vertical Line/lines going across the TV, especially at start up. As of now I fix it by smacking the side of the TV moderately hard with a rubber mallet. I'm surprised I haven't broken the plastic cabinet yet! The picture...
