Where is the flame sensor on the rheem rcah-z025S?
Where is the flame sensor on the rheem rcah-z025S horizontal gas furnace? My furnace is short cycling and I can't find the sensor in order to clean it.

Looks like you may have gave us the model# of the evaporator coil not the furnace. The flame sensor on a furnace- sets right in front of the burner opposite side of the ignitor. Small metal rod with only one wire going to it.

Thanks for your reply, T-Top. Unfortunately, I see nothing else in the vicinity of the ignitor, which is my problem. As to the model number, I have no documentation and so don't know for sure if I've given the wrong one, but the furnace is about a 1991 model and I have seen the same model number referred to in askmehelpdesk in a previous inquiry. I'm hoping you or somebody else is familiar with this particular model, since the sensor is not readily visible. Appreciate help from anyone on this.
