I met this guy and we kind of like each other but it was a friendly "like".We started to hang around a lot and that's how he met my friend.One day my friend was bored and asked me 4 his e-mail address.I gave it to her without second thought and that's how they started chatting... At first I didn't care but now it's bothering me and I don't know why... She has a boyfriend who is 12 years older than us and they've been going out 4 many years.She keeps telling me that he isn't her type and that they are just friends but the facts speak 4 themselves he chats with her more then he does with me, they keep touching and hugging,she goes to his room whenever she has the occasion(we live in the same dorm) & whenever I do the same she acts like she's jelouse when he's friendly with me she gets upset,whenever I touch him she always makes *****y remarks when we reach to our room and she tries to always be there 2 whenever we are alone.I don't know her personality changes 180 degrees when she's around him she tries to act cutesy and I don't know why because she keeps telling me how much she loves her boyfriend and how much she misses him... It's all so weird and stupid.So am I paranoid or is there something going on?

Something is going on. Trust your instincts. A young man with raging hormones is going to try to play both of you. Surely there are other guys on campus. If you just want to be his friend, who cares if she is more than that. If you're in college, ~18 yrs old, and her boyfriend is ~30... then that is something a little different. She could be using him for the money, he may not be all there mentally, etc. Just accept that these two in your dorm have an interest in each other. Don't let yourself be played by the guy. Also, she isn't a real friend if she is taking a guy you are interested in, even though you deny being really into him.
