    How many eggs?
    I am 18 and I'll be 19 in next month.it has already been a month since I joined gym.I'm eating 10eggs per day as it is protein booster food as told by our gym trainer.among 10 eggs I only eat 5yolks.I want to know if it is okay for me or not? should I have WHEYY(protein powder) n lessen number of eggs?please help me!! At the same time I also want to increase my volume of body

    That's a huge amount of saturated fat you are eating.

    I am NOT a personal Trainer. I have been down this road before though. Protein is great for helping build muscle mass, but it does NOT have to all come from eggs. Chicken is an awesome source of protein. Don't skip on the carbs either. You need energy to perform.

    The biggest mistake I made was TOO much protein, not enough carbs. If you do not have a healthy balanced diet to go long with your workout regiment, you may actual burn off the muscle you are trying to build.

    I would consult a nutritionist and let them know what you are trying to achieve. Personal trainers are not always the best with food ;) (10 eggs a day... that will get old fast)

    I watched the world arm wrestling championship one year and the winner was a vegetarian.
    Look at all the best marathon runners - from Africa, where the diet is mostly a balanced mix of grains, beans, and seeds for protein.
    We westerners tend to think we have to get protein (we don't need so much either) from meat, fish, and poultry and their milk and eggs. Not true.
    Don't consume ANYTHING in abnormal amounts, not even water. That covers all you need to know. Eat a balanced healthy diet.
    Eggs aren't just high in cholesterol, although they are a well balanced protein and high in protein, ounce for ounce. You don't know what sorts of hormones and antibiotics are in them from the horrors of mass produced, speeded up, overcrowded chicken farms. Spend extra on locally grown ones from small farms. Eat organic and fresh stuff. That means more.
