    Child support to child in foreign country
    My wife and I have been married 6 years, and we have a 4-year-old son. My wife plans to divorce me and take my son and move to a foreign country. She is not a US citizen and prefers to be in her home country. Can she collect child support from that foreign country? If she goes to court here to get a judgement and then moves out of the country, is the child support still payable?

    Yes it is. And we have treaties to make it enforcable. Do you want your child living in another country?
