The float arm could be stuck or the float switch could be bad. Try to shake the ejector exit line to see if the arm can be dropped. If not, you'll need to pull the top. STINKY!

ma0641 is bang on. Check the float switch. Has the pit been full or has the pump been running dry? Back tom you. Tom

Sewage ejector pump [ 5 Answers ]

I think my sewage ejector pump may be bad. The fuse for the pump popped and when I re-set the breaker, the ejector pump turns on for several seconds and then the breaker pops again. Does that mean the pump is gone bad or do I have an electrical problem.
