Network printer control panel in system tray
Is it possible to place a printer control panel in system tray for network printers. When the local printer is installed, a printer control panel (that displays printer status, ink use, etc) automatically appears in the system tray. However with network printers after installation there is no panel in system tray. I have PCs with Vista and Windows 7.

    Thanks.

The try icon is part of the software that comes with the local printer. Did you look in the manual of the networked printer or the program to see if there is one?

I am not using a network printer. I am simply using the Printer share feature of Windows to share printers.
