Whirlpool Front loader-F11 code and some noise-though brief on spin cycle
We have a Whirlpool Duet front loader which is 7 years old. We keep getting a F11 error code which according to Whirlpool means -Motor Control internal failure-during high speed spins. We have heard a strange noise-though it's not a constant noise during the spin cycle. I tried the thumb on the outside, pulling the tub towards me and it moved easily.

So is this an electronic problem? Bearings? Something we can fix? Should we pay $130 to have someone diagnose or just buy a new one
