Whirlpool washer grinding noise on spin cycle

Hello,

We have a top loading Whirlpool washer. Under the lid is a metal stamp that has model # LXR7244JQO. Last week it shook violently during the spin cycle. Yesterday it started making a loud squeeling/grinding noise during the spin cycle. Do you have any idea what is wrong?
