My dryer was making squeaking noise and now drum won't turn
I have a kenmore stackable washer/dryer combo, model 417.94702300 that is about 6 years old. It was making a horrible squeaking noise that stopped a few minutes into each cycle. That went on for a looong time and we didn't deal with it. Now the dryer won't tumble. Took off the panels and vaccuumed it out. Looks like the belt is intact. Is this fixable? I read threads about rear drum bearing. Did we leave it too long and have now burned something out?
