Be there for her. This is going to be one the hardest times in her life. If the father of the baby denies paternity, it is going to be even harder.

It has already happened so just make the best of a bad situation.
I was a teen mom and I would not have been able to do it without my parents. It was very hard but we got through it and guess what? The world didn't end. I finished school and I have a good life.

Are you asking who to see? The local OBGYN. As for talking to the boy in question I would go to his parents and discuss it with him. The local health office might have some resources when it comes to helping pay for the doctor.

    NO!

    Why would you say that?

That is a life inside of her...

If she is unable to take care of this baby, then perhaps she could look into adoption.

There are plenty of couples out there (good people) who can't get pregnant, that would make great parents.

That's if she even wants to go that route.

It is their decision, after all.

    Hello E:

We can discuss the political and/or moral ramifications of abortion on a discussion thread. But, not here. Here, the OP wants to know what to DO, and abortion should be one of the options considered - along, of course, with your thoughtful opinion.

You're right, it was a knee jerk reaction. You're right though, this isn't the place.

To the OP, as you can see, you do have options for your Daughter...

What ever she decides to do, just be supportive of her.

I wish you both the best of luck.
