Test Gas Furnace with BYPASS of Power Venter...
I have a teledyne gas furnace with a power venter... my pilot is lit but main burners aren't kicking on. I was thinking that my power venter isn't working properly and was thinking of doing a quick test with a bypass of the power venter. There are two wires to the gas valve that it attaches to, I was wondering do I just disconnect these power venter leads and connect the main valve wires to the furnace? Would this temporarily do the trick so I can see if the burners will kick on? Thanks in advance for you input.
