Hi. Ive done numerous home pregancy kits since coming off the depo-injection last September, and none have ever had an 'evaporation line' on them after several hours. There's just always been one dark line.
Last night I did another test as my period was due this morning, and I still hadn't had my 24-hr before cramps that herald its arrival. Surprise suprise- when I came back to the results about an hour later, there were two lines, albeit one was very dark and the other one very very faint. After researching it online, I came to the conclusion that a false positive just doesn't exist- unless its this mysterious 'evap line'. Can anyone advise me? Its stressing me to heck wondering if Im pregnant or not!

It very well could be an evap line. Take another test using first morning urine and follow the directions carefully. Do not read it after the alloted time frame per the directions.
