    Annunity inheritance laws
I have two variable annunity metlife accounts my father left me.
Can the Texas courts take that away from me for filing chapter 7 bankruptcy?
I was told I would be protected and then I was told they could take it from me.

Have you transferred them into your name yet ?

If still in fathers name, and you are beneficiary of them, at that point, they are waiting to be proceeds to you.
