    International divorce
    I want a divorce. Wife is from Czech Republic and I'm from Foley, AL. Been married 2 yrs this July. She left in Jan of this year to visit family. Was suppose to stay 3 months and come back. Hasn't been back. Both of us want divorce. We both agree on everything except for visitation on our daughter. She will be 3 next month. How do I go about getting a divorce and what can I do to get to see my daughter? Thanks! John

    Start with the AL.gov website and see if you can get a no fault divorce, or failing that, you claim abandonment and taking child, if your name is on child's birth certificate or you have had paternity test.
    Forcing an ex to bring home a child for visitation, even if ordered, is impossible internationally. Your ex may decide to just never set foot in the US again. It's best to stay on good terms.
