I have a Honeywell ct60 manual thermostat with two wires one is L1 and the other is T1 both are black wires
My heater is a 2000w Sylvainia with a black and white wire, and I'm using 12 gauge wires red and black.. my connection is as follows, from the main panel to the thermostat connecting the red to L1 , the other wire going to the heater is connected to the T1 connection on the thermostat and is the red wire as well. My connection to the heater is black on black and white on red , and all grounds are connected, when I test my lines I'm getting 120v on each wire and .
So my problem is that I not getting any heat, could it be my heater that is defective or could it be my wiring..
