I had my period on August 31 of this year and I had unprotected sex on the 12th of September. Was I in any way ovulating or fertile? My period is normally on a 30 day basis and I'm not sure if I was ovulating or not, could I be pregnant? I'm also having a tingly feelinq in my breast and a little bit of cramps here and there buh that can also mean my period is on the way right?

Any time you have sex (and even if you use protection, nothing is 100%) you could get pregnant.

It's my understanding that ovulation happens somewhere between 11-21 days after your last or 12-16 days from the date you next expect your period.

It can vary from month to month.

Thank you for answering. I was on an ovulation calculator and it stated that my ovulation time would have been on the 15th, so that would mean that by the 13th I was fertile right? This whole ovulating and fertility thing is so confusing.
