I had my period on August 31 of this year and I had unprotected sex on the 12th of September. Was I in any way ovulating or fertile? My period is normally on a 30 day basis and I'm not sure if I was ovulating or not, could I be pregnant? It's my understanding that ovulation happens somewhere between 11-21 days after your last or 12-16 days from the date you next expect your period.

Thank you for answering. I was on an ovulation calculator and it stated that my ovulation time would have been on the 15th, so that would mean that by the 13th I was fertile right? This whole ovulating and fertility thing is so confusing.
