    Facet sounds like it is running constantly
    My laundry room facet always sounds like it is running. The taps are hot to the touch. But there is no water coming from the taps. They work fine when turned on, and they shut off with no leak. But they constantly sound like they are on slightly and the whole facet assembly is hot. Any thoughts on what this could be and how to fix it? Laundry tub is on the main floor, right above the hot water tank in the basement. And the washing machine hoses are run from the same sink.

    Souynds like you may have some trash caught in the seat and is vibrating when the tap is open ' Shut the water off and open up the faucet. Place a pan over the open valve and turn the water back on to flush out the supplies. You shoud have a strong stream with no noise when yolu do this. Reassemble and test. Better now? Good luck, Tom
