I have a new rheem heat pump single stage that I am having problems getting the reversing valve to energize. I am not sure on the wiring of the heat pump using a trane thermostat. The trane thermostat is wired red to red on air handler to red at cond. Unit; blue to white/blue stripe at air handler to blue at cond unit; yellow to yellow at cond. Unit; white to black at cond. Unit (no white wire that can be used); orange to orange at cond. Unit; black to white/brown stripe on air handler; tan to brown at air handler and brown at cond. Unit; green to green on air handler. I have tried attatching the orange wire to the red wire at cond. Unit- reversing valve does not engergize; tried connecting the orange wire to the blue wires - reversing valve does not energize, tried red orange wire to brown wires at cond. Unit - reversing valve does not energize. Can not get a voltage reading on reversing wire (2 black wires connecting to reversing valve)
