    Is an apartment lease valid with just a fax of the signature and no hard copy
    We have a one year lease but never did send the hard copy with the signature they only have the fax copy so does that make the lease legally binding?

    Yes.

    Good luck trying to claim you never signed it when they can show the faxed "soft" copy.
