I had unprotected sex on 08/15/2010 during peak ovulation, I am not using any form of birth control, I am expecting my period around 08/29/2010. I took a pregnancy test 08/24/2010 and it was negative, did I test too soon? I am having some pregnancy symptoms; darkened nipples, bloating, feeling tired, wanting weird foods,etc.

Yes, you tested too soon. Most home pregnancy tests are only reasonably accurate from the first day of the missed period. There are a couple of brands which claim to give a result a few days earlier, but with less accuracy.

I would not worry too much about the symptoms, things like being tired and bloated can come from all sorts of things, and it's way too early for food cravings.

Test again on the 28th or later.

I agree with above.

Its not impossible, but rather unlikely that you'd experience pregnancy symptoms before you would get a positive test result. Test again within a day or two of when you should get your period.
